Sumario:During the COVID-19 pandemic, China has continued to consolidate its power and the projection of its country brand in the world, differentiating itself from many Western countries, which projected confusing and conflicting images. China, on the other hand, has shown itself to be a clear world leader; It has carried out various actions related to soft power that have allowed it to successfully manage this pandemic. This paper analyzes: its health sovereignty: the Chinese State as a world supplier of a scarce and necessary good; the use of vaccine diplomacy: they have been destined for strategic geopolitical locations and in line with their commercial and economic strategies; Chinese culture and its respect for life: China differs discursively and on the ground in terms of its weighting of life over economics; the role of the media: with an offensive role and a critical approach in the US and Europe; cultural diplomacy: China is a modern, highly flexible state and this allowed it to continue with its cultural diplomacy strategies; finally, the cultural and creative industries: which did not stop their dizzying growth in the face of the current pandemic.
