China, on the other hand, has shown itself to be a clear world leader; It has carried out various actions related to soft power that have allowed it to successfully manage this pandemic. This paper analyzes: its health sovereignty: the Chinese State as a world supplier of a scarce and necessary good; the use of vaccine diplomacy: they have been destined for strategic geopolitical locations and in line with their commercial and economic strategies; Chinese culture and its respect for life: China differs discursively and on the ground in terms of its weighting of life over economics; the role of the media: with an offensive role and a critical approach in the US and Europe; cultural diplomacy: China is a modern, highly flexible state and this allowed it to continue with its cultural diplomacy strategies; finally, the cultural and creative industries: which did not stop their dizzying growth in the face of the current pandemic.
