However, the citizens of the large metropolises enjoy some of the riches that rural communities offer them without knowing that, if they had direct contact with them through agroecological tourism, they could find a haven of peace and vitality, which can pay them in physical and mental health. In view of the above, it is important to carry out a campaign to revalue the heritage that these communities possess and attract visitors who help their economy prosper to ensure a dynamic of sustainability that benefits both regions. In the case of the great City of Mexico, it has multiple communities in the vicinity of its territory, but the towns of the community of Milpa Alta stand out, since over several centuries they have been able to preserve their cultural and ecological riches, from which citizens must take example to improve their daily lives. El ámbito urbano latinoamericano ha desplazado la vida agrícola y ganadera al territorio rural, menospreciando todo el capital social y natural que contiene, pero además excluyéndolos de los beneficios que las grandes ciudades otorgan a sus habitantes. Sin embargo, los ciudadanos de las grandes metrópolis usufructúan algunas de las riquezas que las comunidades rurales les ofrecen sin saber que, si tuvieran contacto directo con estas a través del turismo agroecológico, podrían hallar un remanso de paz y vitalidad, el que puede abonarles en salud física y mental. Atendiendo lo anterior, es importante realizar una campaña de revalorización hacia el patrimonio que poseen estas comunidades y atraer visitantes que ayuden a prosperar su economía para procurar una dinámica de sostenibilidad que beneficie ambas regiones. En el caso de la gran Ciudad de México, posee múltiples comunidades en las inmediaciones de su territorio, pero destacan los poblados de la comunidad de Milpa Alta, ya que a lo largo de varios siglos han sabido preservar de sus riquezas culturales y ecológicas, de las que la ciudadanía debe tomar ejemplo para mejorar su vida cotidiana.
