Based on the need to understand that architecture is a socio-anthropological cultural phenomenon and that the reuse of underutilized spaces is fundamental for the conception of new architectural spaces; it is essential to consider the multiple functions of open and built space and its importance in raising the quality of life of the city's inhabitants, aware that human beings require places of socialization for their full development, and that their characteristics and location should not obey the whim of the authorities, but rather the functions of the city. Therefore and observing the needs presented by the eastern zone of the State of Mexico, specifically the municipalities conurbed with the CDMX, regarding the lack of open public space and the low percentage of green areas per capita (results of the calculation of the basic index of prosperous cities, UN-HABITAT 2018); the present research has as its main objective a regeneration proposal for the park "Iztatl" located in av. Cuauhtémoc 6876, Geovillas Santa Bárbara, 56530 Ixtapaluca, Mexico, with implementation of furniture with car tires that contributes to sustainable development in terms of natural resources and environmental preservation. |

Partiendo de la necesidad de comprender que la arquitectura es un fenómeno cultural socio-antropológico y que la reutilización de espacios subutilizados es fundamental para la concepción de nuevos espacios arquitectónicos; es indispensable considerar las múltiples funciones del espacio abierto y construido y su importancia en la elevación de la calidad de vida de los habitantes de la ciudad, conscientes de que el ser humano requiere de lugares de socialización para su pleno desarrollo, y que sus características y ubicación no deben obedecer al capricho de las autoridades, sino a las funciones de la ciudad. Por consiguiente y observando las necesidades que presenta la zona oriente del Estado de México, específicamente los municipios conurbados con la CDMX, con respecto a la falta de espacio público abierto y al bajo porcentaje de áreas verdes per cápita (resultados del cálculo del índice básico de ciudades prósperas, ONU-HABITAT, 2018); la presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal una propuesta de regeneración para el parque “Iztatl” ubicado en av. Cuauhtémoc 6876, Geovillas Santa Bárbara, 56530 Ixtapaluca, México, con implementación de mobiliario con llantas de automóvil que contribuya al desarrollo sustentable en materia de recursos naturales y preservación del medio ambiente. Partindo da necessidade de compreender que a arquitectura é um fenómeno cultural sócio-antropológico e que a reutilização de espaços subutilizados é fundamental para a concepção de novos espaços arquitectónicos; É fundamental considerar as múltiplas funções do espaço aberto e construído e a sua importância na elevação da qualidade de vida dos habitantes da cidade, conscientes de que o ser humano necessita de locais de socialização para o seu pleno desenvolvimento, e que as suas características e localização não devem obedecer às capricho das autoridades, mas sim as funções da cidade. Consequentemente, e observando as necessidades apresentadas pela zona leste do Estado do México, especificamente os municípios conurbados com CDMX, no que diz respeito à falta de espaço público aberto e ao baixo percentual de áreas verdes per capita (resultados do cálculo do básico índice de cidades prósperas, ONU-HABITAT, 2018); O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é uma proposta de regeneração do parque “Iztatl” localizado na Av.
