spelling I10-R304-article-393182023-07-25T18:09:45Z Construir con los escombros del pasado: Enfoque holístico en la recuperación y conservación de la arquitectura moderna Prados, Silvina Santoro, Agustín Mariano Construcción sostenible Renovación arquitectónica Rehabilitación Sustainable construction Architectural renovation Rehabilitation In a society that is constantly growing, with permanent changes, affected by the demand for construction that grows very rapidly accompanied by the development of new materials and construction systems producing an ever increasing occupation of the territory, architecture is, to a large extent, in charge of materializing and responding to its demands, with innovative proposals that not only satisfy a heterogeneous and diversified society, but also aim at sustainable development, committing itself to the environment.However, these aspects seem to be simple solutions for new buildings, but are more complex for existing heritage.Around the world there are large buildings that were abandoned for various economic, political, financial reasons, etc., and that today are in a state of abandonment, but with a condition of stability that would allow prolonging their life cycle.The following is the research project carried out at the Università degli Studi di Salerno - Italy, with the purpose of obtaining the double degree being this the final work of career, where the recovery of an existing and abandoned hotel in the province of Neuquén was deepened.  En una sociedad que se encuentra constantemente en crecimiento, con cambios permanentes, afectada por la demanda de la construcción  que crece  muy rápidamente acompañada por el desarrollo de nuevos materiales y sistemas constructivos produciendo una ocupación del territorio cada vez mayor, la arquitectura es, en gran parte, la encargada de materializar y dar respuesta a sus demandas, con propuestas innovativas que no solo satisfagan a una sociedad heterogénea y diversificada, sino también que apunten a un desarrollo sustentable, comprometiéndose con el medio ambiente. Sin embargo, estos aspectos parecen ser simples soluciones para nuevos edificios, pero son más complejas para el patrimonio existente. Alrededor del mundo existen grandes construcciones que fueron abandonadas por diversas causas económicas, políticas, financieras, etc., y que hoy en día se encuentran en estado de abandono, pero con una condición de estabilidad que permitiría prolongar su ciclo de vida. A continuación, se relata el proyecto de investigación llevado a cabo en la Università degli Studi di Salerno - Italia, con el objetivo de obtener el doble título, donde se profundizó en la recuperación y rehabilitación de un hotel existente y abandonado en la provincia de Neuquén.  Facultad de Arquitectura, Urbanismo y Diseño.
