Particularly the period between 2001 and 2019 will define a moment that begins with the economic crisis of 2001, and that in the following years will be framed in a recovery process including actions and programs at national level, of encouragement and promotion for productive development. In this context, the production of industrial design in Córdoba is seen as an emerging phenomenon in which industrial designers focus on the search for alternative practices for the exercise of the profession, appealing mainly to the implementation of material, technological and productive resources aimed at overcoming the difficulties of insertion in the industrial sector. It is of interest to analyze this process from a socio semiotic perspective, approaching the significant dimension of the projectual practices in order to try to survey and understand the production of meanings deployed in the projectual practices of the industrial designers of Córdoba (Argentina); and on the other hand, to know the factors from which the local industrial designers operate, in relation to the definition of the technological-productive aspects of their designs. The main results will be presented in this paper.   Una de las principales dificultades que surge en torno a la producción de diseño industrial en nuestro país es que los diseñadores deben ejercer su profesión en un contexto de permanente inestabilidad económica y con una industria generalmente debilitada. Particularmente el período abarcado entre los años 2001 y 2019 definirá un momento que inicia con la crisis económica de 2001, y que en los años posteriores se enmarcará en un proceso de recuperación incluyendo acciones y programas a nivel nacional, de fomento y promoción para el desarrollo productivo. En ese contexto, la producción de diseño industrial en Córdoba se observa como un fenómeno emergente en el que los diseñadores industriales se centran en la búsqueda de prácticas alternativas para el ejercicio de la profesión, apelando principalmente a la implementación de recursos materiales, tecnológicos y productivos tendientes a franquear las dificultades de inserción en el sector industrial. Es de interés analizar este proceso desde una perspectiva socio semiótica, abordando la dimensión significante de las prácticas proyectuales para intentar relevar y comprender la producción de sentidos desplegada en las prácticas proyectuales de los diseñadores industriales de Córdoba (Argentina); y por otro lado, conocer los factores a partir de los cuales operan los diseñadores industriales locales, en relación a la definición de los aspectos tecnológico-productivos de sus diseños.
