The topic will be approached from a descriptive and analytical perspective. We will start from the headlines of the news of the death of the ligur writer Italo Calvino written in Italian, in 1985 and the replicas in Spanish, French and German that were made in the European newspapers. We will start from the concept of interculturality that aims to describe the interaction between two or more cultures, taking into account that language is a semiotic object of great cultural transport (Lvovskaya, 1997). In addition, the translation model of the Chair of Modern Italian Language II (D Andrea, 2017) will be taken into account. Theoretical guidelines from the linguistic perspective of Roman Jakobson (1964) will also be followed, who thinks that the sign can be translated in three different ways and the new concepts on translation brought by researcher Pierangela Diadori (2012). Este trabajo forma parte de una línea investigativa comenzada hace algunos años y en donde uno de los principales objetivos es analizar textos y realizar algunas consideraciones teóricas sobre las formas de traducir y los distintos formatos. El abordaje del tema se hará desde una perspectiva descriptiva y analítica. Partiremos desde los titulares de la noticia de la muerte del escritor ligur Italo Calvino escritos en italiano, en el año 1985, y las réplicas en español, francés y alemán que se hicieron en los diarios europeos. Partiremos del concepto de interculturalidad que apunta a describir la interacción entre dos o más culturas, teniendo en cuenta que la lengua es un objeto semiótico de gran transporte cultural (Lvovskaya, 1997). Además, se tendrá en cuenta el modelo traductológico propio de la cátedra de Idioma Moderno Italiano II (D’Andrea, 2017). También se seguirán los lineamientos teóricos planteados desde la perspectiva lingüística de Roman Jakobson (1964), quien piensa que el signo puede ser traducido de tres maneras diferentes, y los nuevos conceptos sobre traducción aportados por la investigadora Pierangela Diadori (2012).
