Sumario:Textual genres are presented as uniform and immutable patterns in the training of legal translators, as each discursive genre has different characteristics that must be respected in translation. In this regard, this study addresses the main classifications of textual genres in the language of law based on Pontrandolfo (2013), Mortara Garavelli (2001) and Vegara Fabregat (2006), from written texts, such as normative and doctrinal texts, to oral texts. All this together with personal integrations with the aim of creating a formative path for the legal translator.
