| Sumario: | This article attempts to highlight the importance of the study of light verb constructions in the context of the translation of the second surah of the Koran into the Spanish language. For this, we have studied, first, the characteristics of these constructions in both the Spanish and Arabic languages and we have been able to confirm that they are phraseological constructions located at the borders near the domain of the free syntax. Secondly, and taking into account this particular position together with the special semantic character of the supporting verb, we have analyzed some Arab constructions and we have commented their translation into Spanish to highlight aspects of interest like the nuances that these enclose and the converse constructions that demand special attention when translating this type of texts. |
