Our corpus to conduct the analysis includes the short story “The Headstrong Historian”, by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and the translation made by Aurora Echevarría Pérez, published in 2010. En el marco del Proyecto de Investigación y Desarrollo «Escrituras de minorías, ethos y (auto)traducción» (2017–2020, AIT, IdIHCS-FaHCE-UNLP) dirigido por la Dra. María Laura Spoturno, nuestro propósito es presentar los distintos problemas de traducción que pueden surgir al encarar la traducción de un texto de literatura de minorías y los procedimientos que pueden utilizarse para resolver dichas dificultades. Para ello tomamos como corpus el cuento The Headstrong Historian de la autora nigeriana Chimamanda Adichie y la traducción del cuento realizada por Aurora Echevarría Pérez, publicada en el año 2010.
