They are the purest expression of an efficient structural system that allows covering large spans with very little material and great flexibility. Diseñar sombras, incentivar su exploración, estimular el uso racional y sostenible de los sistemas constructivos livianos es quizás, eldesafío más grande que presenta esta entrega. Las estructuras textiles forman parte desde la antigüedad de nuestra respuesta arquitectónica frente a las inclemencias del tiempo. Son la expresión más pura de un sistema estructural eficiente que permite cubrir grandes luces con muy poco material y gran flexibilidad. Desenhar sombras, estimular a sua exploração, estimular o uso racional e sustentável de sistemas construtivos leves talvez seja o maior desafio apresentado por esta edição.Estruturas têxteis fazem parte de nossa resposta arquitetônica às intempéries desde os tempos antigos.
