And thirdly, we draw on some examples to show the broadening of the observational base. En este artículo nos proponemos revisar y evaluar el enfoque de revitalización como un programa de investigación para el estudio de sindicatos. Para eso rastreamos, en primer lugar, el surgimiento de este enfoque en los países anglófonos. En segundo lugar, revisamos las principales definiciones y sistematizamos las dimensiones de análisis para mostrar el refinamiento teórico del enfoque. Y, en tercer lugar, recurrimos a algunos ejemplos para mostrar la ampliación de la base observacional.
