Roqué López, Cam Sex Research Methodology Sexo Investigación Metodología To inquire into "sex", as proposed in the book, is to assume it in all the complexity that the word summons: beyond the biologicist reductionisms -but, also, going through them and crossing them in their conformation and historical density-, what it is about is to study the varied bundle of practices and desires that bodies want, can and/or are capable of. Thus, the chapters gathered in the book stress from the beginning the grammatical structure of any preposition attached to "sex": the research is both "of" sex and "with" sex, " through" sex, "from" sex, to give just a few examples. "Studying sex" from a critical look at normativities is to be challenged by the relationality of the category, and by the need to interrogate the processes of desexualization that produce the notions of Subject - Object - Method as separable and neutral. "Sexualizing Research," with its incitement to scandal, highlights how sexuality and research seem to have been co-produced in logics of contiguity that rest on a scrupulous mutual refusal. The variable connectors for this title are deployed in the methodological questions that each article raises about the action of its particular research. El libro que estamos reseñando es el resultado de muchos años –más de quince– de vínculos cruzados entre un grupo de investigadorxs de México y Argentina, y de una meditación conjunta sobre el trabajo de investigación: cómo investigamos y qué reflexiones podemos generar desde nuestras latitudes. Desde su inicio, la compilación explicita un posicionamiento prosexo y anticapacitista que recorre todos los artículos, en formas que en algunos es más evidente que en otros. En un sentido más general, la sexualidad como espacio de indagación desbarata de manera ineludible aquello que se considera como "autoevidente" en términos de distinciones epistemológicas básicas, como sujetx conocedorx, objeto a ser conocido, métodos y técnicas de producción del conocimiento.
