For this subject, life and work are homologated during industrial capitalism, intensifying in its neoliberal-biopolitical stage that erases the difference between the political life that would be born from work and the reproduction of mere life. In this sense, the recent pandemic of Covid-19 shows that, although the world has changed, the metaphysics of labor that sustains this form-of-life has remained intact. However, we observe that in the recent popular revolts in Latin America, and in particular in Chile, a critique of the modern subject that is formed for work is flourishing, and at the same time it is where we can perhaps find the keys to begin to think about another form of post-work life.
