First, we recover contributions from researches that analyze a corpus of theoretical books on literature for children and young people, published in Argentina between the sixties and the nineties, in order to recompose the categorical systems that support such positions. In a second instance, we refer to the theoretical and critical approaches that are consolidated in a dialogical relationship with academic criticism, focusing on a set of events organized by collectives associated with national universities from 2001 to 2013. The aim is to validate the theoretical-critical apparatus of Argentine literature for children (LAPN) in order to demonstrate that it represents theorizing approaches initially inscribed in journalism and communication. This set of early reflections and deliberations later on, theoretical approaches and critical devices are consolidated in connection with the entry into the field of academic criticism. En este escrito nos proponemos especificar los trayectos de lo literario infantil en clave crítica. En un primer momento, se recuperan aportes de investigaciones que analizan corpus de libros teóricos sobre literatura para niños y jóvenes, publicados en Argentina, entre los años sesenta y noventa, de manera de recomponer los sistemas categoriales que dan sustento a dichos posicionamientos. En una segunda instancia, referenciamos los planteos teóricos y críticos que se consolidan en relación dialógica con la crítica académica, haciendo foco en un conjunto de eventos organizados por colectivos asociados a universidades nacionales desde 2001 hasta 2013. Se trata de validar el aparato teórico-crítico de la literatura argentina para niños (LAPN) en función de demostrar que representa abordajes teorizantes inscriptos inicialmente en el periodismo y la divulgación. Este conjunto de reflexiones y deliberaciones embrionarias despunta, luego, planteos teóricos y dispositivos críticos que se consolidan en vinculación con la entrada al ámbito de la crítica académica.
