This exchange shows that educational spaces inserted in territories of dispute and advance of extractivism constitute places of resistance and generation of socio-educational practices that recover medicinal and food knowledge, associated with the preservation of biodiversity. From the perspective of the ecology of knowledge (Santos, 2014), we understand that the combination and enhancement of the plurality of epistemologies in school curricula puts pressure on the hegemonic models of production and the relationships with the natural environment.  Este ensayo tiene el propósito de recuperar la experiencia de un intercambio educativo realizado en el marco del proyecto de extensión universitaria “Guardianes de la Reserva”. El intercambio pone en evidencia que los espacios educativos insertos en territorios de disputa y avance del extractivismo constituyen lugares de resistencia y generación de prácticas socioeducativas que recuperan saberes medicinales y alimentarios, asociados a la preservación de la biodiversidad. Desde la perspectiva de la ecología de saberes (Santos, 2014), entendemos que la conjunción y puesta en valor de la pluralidad de epistemologías en las currículas escolares tensionan los modelos hegemónicos de producción y de relación con el entorno natural.
