Sumario:What follows are instructions or useful advice on how to assemble a Chaco, drawn from personal academic experiences and based on readings and theoretical discussions. These include a brief introduction to the types of Chaco commonly found in academic writing about the conquest and colonization of the Americas, as well as specific recommendations on how to assemble and care for the proposed Chaco. The goal, far from being establishing the object of study once and for all, tries to be an ironic reflection upon the steps that lead to its construction. Towards the end, we present a pocket-edition summary.
