Based on an ethnographic study of different documents, events and interviews with teachers and state officials, the aim is to analyze how this celebration was instituted as an event that celebrated children and childhood on their day. The focus will be on observing a series of actions that prescribed a limited set of steps to be followed for a "good and effective celebration". The analysis focuses on those pieces of advice and recommendations that, in their pedagogical approach, conformed the correct and institutional way of celebrating Children's Day. Likewise, it explores meanings attributed by the state to recreational activities and games and the ways in which the Government of the city of Córdoba managed them.
