The present work is inscribed in the Universidad Nacional de San Luis (National University of San Luis), within one of the lines of the research project “Hacer la historia, construir la memoria. Su impacto en las Ciencias Humanas” (Making History, Constructing Memory. Its Impact on the Human Sciences), directed by Dr. Sonia Riveros, a line that works on the axis of dictatorship and education through a history of practices.
Whether we like it or not, whether we are aware of it or not, all of us position ourselves ideologically, from those who campaign, promote, and disseminate their ideas, to those who simply declare that they are not interested in a particular topic; that is to say that, whether we want to or not, we all have a vision or an assessment of our environment: of individuals, laws, material things, our freedom, or our worship, among others. Precisely, these ideas, when shared, become striking to those who hold similar assessments or ideas.
It is very difficult to understand at what moment these shared ideas or theories transform into ideologies, with the aggravating factor that they are generally diversified, adapted, or distorted from their original doctrines; but we can observe and detect the moments when women and men organize to disseminate, promote, or impose their theories on a given society, that is, through practices.
Reflecting on violence or political violences requires a deep socio-historical analysis, which exceeds the limits established for this work; for this reason, inquiring into the most resonant writings of the analyzed period—in particular, the foundations of political violence as an instrument of rupture and social change—is appropriate for this instance. |
