To bring an answer closer, it show aspects of Kuhnian theoretical development in dialogue with feminist postulates. It hypothesized that the disciplinary matrix is what the professional thinks, shaping the thinking that the psychologist has of the patient and influencing the practices that emerge from their therapeutic intervention. In the first place, it intend to reveal how the ontology adopted by the professional is the underlying ontology of the metaphysical models accepted by the disciplinary matrix. Second, motivate a reflection on the need to embrace critical thinking in the professional role.To achieve the stated purpose, it analyses the Kuhn ́s The structure of scientific revolutions(1962) in tension with Mapuche epistemology and community intervention: contributions to cognitive justice from the social work of Alicia Rain Rain and Muñoz Arce (2017) and A decolonial proposal: provincializing feminismby María Clara Puigdomenech (2019).
