The importance of the role of the student assistant in the midst of the pandemic context that began in 2020 is discussed. The experience shared in the course Administration of Resources and Information Services I, a subject corresponding to the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Library Science and Documentation, shows how the accompaniment among students was affected by the health guidelines, the electronic tools that facilitated interaction and the innovations in communication in an academic environment. Se plantea la importancia del rol del ayudante alumno en medio del contexto pandémico que dio comienzo en el año 2020. La experiencia compartida en la cátedra Administración de Recursos y Servicios de Información I, asignatura correspondiente al primer año de la carrera de Licenciatura en Bibliotecología y Documentación, pone en evidencia cómo el acompañamiento entre estudiantes se vio afectado por las pautas sanitarias, las herramientas electrónicas que facilitaron la interacción y las innovaciones en la comunicación en un ámbito académico. A importância do papel do assistente estudantil no meio do contexto pandêmico que começou em 2020 é discutida. A experiência compartilhada no curso Administração de Recursos e Serviços de Informação I, disciplina correspondente ao primeiro ano do Bacharelado em Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação, mostra como o acompanhamento entre os alunos foi afetado pelas diretrizes sanitárias, ferramentas eletrônicas que facilitaram a interação e inovações na comunicação em um ambiente acadêmico.
