| Sumario: | The Museum of Health Sciences (MeCSa), arises from the merger of two museums of the National University of Córdoba (UNC), the Museum of the History of Medicine and the Historical Museum of the National Hospital of Clinics. Within the framework of the work started in 2010 on the occasion of the transfer of both heritage assets to a new physical space and the new museographic proposal for the creation of the new museum, a set of three moulages or anatomical molds made in wax that represent characteristics of different dermatological diseases. Despite the importance of this heritage heritage, the state of conservation of these pieces was in advanced deterioration due to the lack of policies aimed at their preventive conservation. |
