Within the framework of the work started in 2010 on the occasion of the transfer of both heritage assets to a new physical space and the new museographic proposal for the creation of the new museum, a set of three moulages or anatomical molds made in wax that represent characteristics of different dermatological diseases. Despite the importance of this heritage heritage, the state of conservation of these pieces was in advanced deterioration due to the lack of policies aimed at their preventive conservation. El Museo en Ciencias de la Salud (MeCSa), surge de la fusión de dos museos de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), el Museo de Historia de la Medicina y el Museo Histórico Hospital Nacional de Clínicas. En el marco de los trabajos iniciados en 2010 con motivo del traslado de ambos acervos patrimoniales a un nuevo espacio físico y de la nueva propuesta museográfica para la creación del nuevo museo, se incorporó a la nueva muestra un conjunto de tres moulages o moldes anatómicos realizados en cera que representan características de diferentes enfermedades dermatológicas. A pesar de la importancia de este acervo patrimonial, el estado de conservación de estas piezas se encontraba en avanzado deterioro por falta de políticas orientadas a la conservación preventiva de las mismas.
