Introduction: work overload is a worldwide concern. In cities, mortality from diseases linked to stress, to physical, emotional overload, where nurses are included, increases. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (2005), understands the workload as the set of activities or interventions carried out by the nurse in response to the demands of care of people and the family. Objective: to compare the perception of the Nurses' workload, its impact on health and the organization of the general hospitalization services of Public Hospitals of Córdoba. Methodology: type of study, transversal. Comparative, analytical. Study variables: Workload perception. Perceptions: referred to the recognition, interpretation and significance of the workload. Impact of the workload related to the care provided to the organization, the life and personal health of nurses. Population: 107 Nurses. Source: primary; Technique: survey, Instrument: validated and adapted self-administered form. Ethical-legal issues required for the study were completed. Results: regarding the Perception expressed by the professionals in the institutions studied, there are three distinct stages: a) People who do not express the feeling of workload; b) Those that express burden related to double-work days and due to an increase in the demand for patients affecting daily actions in all professional, care, organization, performance and family aspects and c) workload due to the social situation of the patients, the lack of work elements, the disorganization at work also differ according to sex. Regarding the repercussions, the interviewees consider that there are physical ones such as headaches, joint and lumbar pain, insomnia and stress; reluctance, disinterest, lack of commitment. In those related to Care it has to do with the quality of care provided, it has an impact on family, emotional and social life. Conclusion and Discussion: the findings are consistent with results presented by previous studies according to which to take into account that the number of Nursing personnel does not solve the problem affects reducing adverse events including falls and infections. According to Neffa (2009) the impact of the workload is related to a physical load and the effort that causes fatigue, accidents and occupational diseases. The feminization of the Nursing profession, although day by day changes with the incorporation of more men, it is still very marked and affects the family and social life of nurses; Concerns for children and dependents, work overload and multi-employment affect the professional and work development of nurses. |

Introducción: la sobrecarga laboral es a nivel mundial una preocupación. En las ciudades crece la mortalidad por enfermedades ligadas al estrés, a la sobrecarga física, emocional, donde los enfermeros están incluidos. El Instituto Nacional de Seguridad e Higiene del Trabajo (2005), entiende a la carga de trabajo como el conjunto de actividades o intervenciones que lleva a cabo la enfermera como respuesta a las demandas de cuidados de las personas y de la familia. Objetivo: comparar la percepción de la carga de trabajo de las Enfermeras, su repercusión en la salud y en la organización de los servicios de internación general de Hospitales Públicos de Córdoba. Metodología: tipo de estudio, transversal. Comparativo, analítico. Variables de estudio: Percepción de la Carga de Trabajo. Percepciones: referido al reconocimiento, interpretación y significación de la carga laboral. Repercusión de la carga de trabajo relacionada con los cuidados brindados a la organización, a la vida y salud personal de los enfermeros. Población: 107 Enfermeros. Fuente: primaria; Técnica: encuesta, Instrumento: formulario autoadministrado validado y adaptado. Fueron cumplimentadas cuestiones ético-legales requeridas para el estudio. Resultados: respecto de la Percepción manifestada por los profesionales en las instituciones estudiadas se dan tres estadios bien diferenciados: a) Personas que no manifiestan sentir la carga de trabajo; b) Aquéllas que expresan carga relacionada con jornadas de doble trabajo y por aumento de la demanda de pacientes afectando el accionar diario en todos los aspectos profesionales, del cuidado, la organización, el desempeño y la familia y c) carga de trabajo por la situación social de los pacientes, la falta de elementos de trabajo, la desorganización en el trabajo también se diferencian según sexo. En cuanto a las Repercusiones los entrevistados consideran que las hay de carácter físico tales como cefaleas, dolores articulares y lumbares, insomnio y estrés; desgano, desinterés, falta de compromiso. En las referidas al Cuidado tiene que ver con la calidad de cuidados impartidos, repercute en la vida familiar, afectiva y social. Conclusión y Discusión: los hallazgos son consistentes con resultados presentados por estudios anteriores según los cuales tener en cuenta que la cantidad de personal de Enfermería no resuelve el problema incide reduciendo los eventos adversos incluyendo caídas e infecciones. Según Neffa (2009) el impacto de la carga de trabajo está relacionado con una carga física y el esfuerzo que genera fatiga, accidentes y enfermedades profesionales. La feminización de la profesión de Enfermería, si bien día a día va cambiando con la incorporación de más varones, aún es muy marcada y afecta la vida familiar y social de los enfermeros; las preocupaciones por los hijos y miembros a cargo, la sobrecarga laboral y el pluriempleo afectan el desarrollo profesional y laboral de los enfermeros. Introdução: a sobrecarga de trabalho é uma preocupação mundial. Nas cidades, aumenta a mortalidade por doenças ligadas ao estresse, à sobrecarga física e emocional, onde os enfermeiros estão inseridos. O Instituto Nacional de Segurança e Saúde Ocupacional (2005), entende por carga de trabalho o conjunto de atividades ou intervenções realizadas pelo enfermeiro em resposta às demandas de cuidado das pessoas e da família. Objetivo: comparar a percepção da carga de trabalho dos Enfermeiros, seu impacto na saúde e na organização dos serviços de internação geral dos Hospitais Públicos de Córdoba. Metodologia: tipo de estudo, transversal. Comparativo, analítico. Variáveis de estudo: Percepção da carga de trabalho. Percepções: referem-se ao reconhecimento, interpretação e significância da carga de trabalho. Impacto da carga de trabalho relacionada ao cuidado prestado à organização, à vida e à saúde pessoal do enfermeiro. População: 107 enfermeiras. Fonte: primária; Técnica: inquérito, Instrumento: formulário autoadministrado validado e adaptado. Questões ético-legais exigidas para o estudo foram concluídas. Resultados: quanto à Percepção expressa pelos profissionais das instituições estudadas, existem três etapas distintas: a) Pessoas que não expressam o sentimento de sobrecarga de trabalho; b) As que expressam sobrecarga relacionada à dupla jornada de trabalho e ao aumento da demanda de pacientes afetando as ações cotidianas em todos os aspectos profissionais, assistenciais, de organização, desempenho e familiares ec) sobrecarga de trabalho devido à situação social dos pacientes a falta de elementos de trabalho, a desorganização no trabalho também diferem de acordo com o sexo. Em relação às repercussões, os entrevistados consideram que existem as físicas como dores de cabeça, dores nas articulações e lombares, insônia e estresse; relutância, desinteresse, falta de compromisso. Nos relacionados ao Cuidado tem a ver com a qualidade da assistência prestada, tem impacto na vida familiar, emocional e social. Conclusão e Discussão: os achados são consistentes com resultados apresentados por estudos anteriores, segundo os quais levar em consideração que o número de profissionais de Enfermagem não resolve o problema afeta a redução de eventos adversos incluindo quedas e infecções. Segundo Neffa (2009) o impacto da carga de trabalho está relacionado à carga física e ao esforço que provoca fadiga, acidentes e doenças ocupacionais. A feminização da profissão de Enfermagem, embora mude dia a dia com a incorporação de mais homens, ainda é muito marcada e atinge a vida familiar e social das enfermeiras; A preocupação com os filhos e dependentes, a sobrecarga de trabalho e a multiemprego afetam o desenvolvimento profissional e laboral do enfermeiro.
