| Sumario: | Higher Education in Cuba is considered as a social public good, a human right and a duty of the state at the service of our people, it’s linked with society and it’s committed to favor the socioeconomic development of the country. Since the revolutionary triumph, it has been understood that without culture there is no advancement and that culture is not onlyinstruction, but rather the education of men where the most meaningful cultural and human approach is needed. Based on matching points between the ideas of Martí and Freire, the authors present their experiences in which they take up themethodology of popular education and dialogue in their pedagogical practices for professional training. The article aims to reflect on some ideas of Freire and Martí that have been inspiring in the experiences of teaching educational communication for professional training in Universities. |
