Since the  revolutionary triumph, it has been understood that without culture there is no advancement and that culture is not onlyinstruction, but rather the education of men where the most meaningful cultural and human approach is needed. Based on matching points between the ideas of Martí and Freire, the authors present their experiences in which they take up themethodology of popular education and dialogue in their pedagogical practices for professional training. The article aims to reflect on some ideas of Freire and Martí that have been inspiring in the experiences of teaching educational communication  for professional training in Universities.  La Educación Superior en Cuba es considerada como un bien público social, un derecho humano y un deber del estado al  servicio de nuestros pueblos, tiene como rasgos centrales la vinculación con la sociedad y el compromiso de favorecer el desarrollo socioeconómico del país. Desde el triunfo revolucionario se entendió que sin cultura no hay avance y que la cultura  no es solo instrucción, sino que hace falta la educación del hombre con el más sentido enfoque cultural y humano. Sobre la  base de puntos coincidentes entre las ideas de Martí y Freire, las autoras plantean sus experiencias, en la que retoman la  metodología de la educación popular y del diálogo en sus prácticas pedagógicas para la formación del profesional. El artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre algunas ideas de Freire y de Martí que han sido inspiradoras en las experiencias de la enseñanza de la comunicación educativa para la formación profesional en las universidades.  A Educação Superior em Cuba é considerada um bem público social, um direito humano e um dever do Estado a serviço de nossos povos, tem como traços o vínculo com a sociedade, seu compromisso em favorecer o desenvolvimento socioeconômico do país. Desde o triunfo revolucionário, entendeu-se que sem cultura não há avanço e que cultura não é apenas instrução, mas sim que a educação do homem com a abordagem cultural e humana mais significativa é necessária. A partir de pontos coincidentes entre as ideias de Martí e Freire, os autores apresentam suas experiências em que assumem a metodologia daeducação popular e do diálogo em suas práticas pedagógicas para a formação profissional. O artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre algumas ideias de Freire e Martí que têm se inspirado nas experiências de ensino de comunicação educacional para a formação profissional em Universidades.
