Sumario:We present an experience, which allows us to articulate the teacher training for primary school at a post-secondary level with the primary school teachers are trained to work in. That teacher training is part of the Academic Administration at Escuela Superior no. 35 Juan María Gutierrez, in the city of Rosario. In the aforementioned institution, we incorporated a ludic-pedagogical device named “Caleidociclo”, which is used as one of the tools to find new strategies in the teaching and learning process in primary school. At that level, children are at the center of this construction, which allows them to develop their curiosity about all the information included in the unit on living beings. In that unit we focus particularly on the human body and health, which are at the center of one of the Core Learning Priorities (NAPS- Núcleos de aprendizajes Prioritarios) and the jurisdictional curriculum design for primary school. We want to point out the importance of including unique experiences that will affect future learning opportunities. The Caleidociclo was incorporated as a starting point in the didactic sequences, to work ludically with content such as the body parts, the senses, health education, personal hygiene, healthy eating habits, and we also work with the cross curricular quality of Sex Education and environmental education. These ludic-pedagogical proposals were developed through projects, workshops and didactic units which seek to promote, having games as a central part, new ways of teaching and learning at a primary school level. We are presented with an institutional challenge, which implies helping children and future teachers acquire knowledge. We envision public school as the field where all the skills necessary to take part in an ever-changing society, ruled by the new technologies and paradigms are made available for everyone. In doing so, we prevent working class people from being excluded. This proposal was developed during the first and second quarter of the year 2019, and was organized as part of a series of activities meant to design, develop and evaluate teaching proposals that favor the acquisition of knowledge on the human body and health, approaching curricular contents of the field of the Natural Sciences.
