In the case of the program worked here, “Guardians of the language” of Canal Encuentro, this approach is carried out with certain premises that construct meanings in relation to indigenous communities, the link with their language and culture, and the roles of agents involved in the revitalization processes of endangered languages. Our work will be organized into four sections in which we will first introduce the case in question along with our objectives and hypotheses, and in the following three sections we will deepen the analysis by developing our investigation from different axes that enable a sequential and detailed approach to those premises worked on in the program. El tratamiento de problemáticas en torno a las lenguas en medios de comunicación televisiva implica necesariamente partir de determinadas concepciones lingüísticas y políticas. En el caso del programa aquí trabajado, “Guardianes de la lengua” de Canal Encuentro, este abordaje se lleva a cabo con ciertas premisas que construyen significados en relación a las comunidades indígenas, el vínculo con su lengua y cultura, y los roles de los agentes involucrados en los procesos de revitalización de lenguas en peligro. Nuestro trabajo se organizará en cuatro apartados en los que vamos a primero introducir el caso en cuestión junto con nuestros objetivos e hipótesis, y en los siguientes tres apartados profundizaremos el análisis desarrollando nuestra indagación a partir de distintos ejes que posibilitan un abordaje secuencial y detenido de aquellas premisas trabajadas en el programa.
