The situation of a raid by the Federal Justice on a brickyard built as a mega-operation for labor trafficking in the periurban territory of Villa María is problematized. From a discursive analysis to a media corpus, the marks with which both the judiciary and journalists construct immigrant workers of Bolivian origin and their living conditions are described. First, the meanings of the agents belonging to the journalistic, judicial, political and union fields are reconstructed with respect to the subjects and activities within a marginalized periurban territory. Then, the images of the raid published in the press are analyzed, addressing convergences between the media and officials on the otherness of the workers and their living conditions. El artículo presenta un análisis semiótico sobre trabajadores y territorios periurbanos en la ciudad de Villa María (provincia de Córdoba, Argentina). Se problematiza la coyuntura de un allanamiento de la Justicia Federal de un cortadero de ladrillos construido como megaoperativo por trata laboral en el territorio periurbano de Villa María. Desde un análisis discursivo de un corpus mediático se describen las marcas con las que, tanto el poder judicial como los periodistas, construyen a los trabajadores inmigrantes de origen boliviano y sus condiciones de habitabilidad. Primero, se reconstruyen significaciones de los agentes pertenecientes a los campos periodístico, judicial, político y gremial respecto a los sujetos y las actividades dentro un territorio periurbano marginalizado. Luego, se analizan las imágenes del allanamiento publicadas en la prensa abordando convergencias entre medios y funcionarios sobre la alterización de los trabajadores y sus condiciones de habitabilidad.
