| Sumario: | In 2009, the Bagua community was the victim of violent acts by the Peruvian State, distributing its actions on three fronts. The first through activation in the media where progress would be opposed to backwardness. Secondly, in the legal field by establishing, together with Congress, sponsoring measures for the destruction of natural resources and the free violent action by the Peruvian national police. Finally in the conflict itself. The article raises the way in which prejudices, racism and cultural assimilationism would activate dangerous State policies that could only be stopped in the face of Bagua's resistance, despite having, at a certain moment, the entire country against them. An article is proposed that rescues what happened with testimonies and bibliography corresponding to said problem from a critical approach to the capitalist world system. |
