Finally in the conflict itself. The article raises the way in which prejudices, racism and cultural assimilationism would activate dangerous State policies that could only be stopped in the face of Bagua's resistance, despite having, at a certain moment, the entire country against them. An article is proposed that rescues what happened with testimonies and bibliography corresponding to said problem from a critical approach to the capitalist world system. La comunidad de Bagua, en el año 2009, fue víctima de actos violentos por parte del Estado peruano debido a la protesta iniciada por el pedido de derogatoria de los decretos que impulsaban la privatización y explotación de recursos naturales en el territorio de pueblos indígenas. Este conflicto tuvo tres frentes. El primero, mediante la activación de discursos mediáticos en donde se oponía el progreso al atraso. El segundo, en el ámbito legal al establecer el Estado peruano, mediante sus ministerios y el Congreso, medidas auspiciantes para la destrucción de los recursos naturales y la libre actuación violenta por parte de la policía nacional del Perú. Finalmente, en el conflicto mismo. El artículo plantea el modo en que los prejuicios, el racismo y el asimilacionismo cultural activan peligrosas políticas de Estado que sólo pudieron detenerse frente a la resistencia de la comunidad de Bagua, pese a tener, en determinado momento, al país entero en su contra. Se plantea un artículo que rescata lo acontecido a partir de testimonios y bibliografía relativa a la problemática en cuestión desde un enfoque crítico del sistema-mundo capitalista.
