Sumario:The distribution, access, and food exchange were affected by the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown imposed to prevent it. In that context, food assistance was modified and families linked to the informal economy adopted new strategies to ensure their sustenance. This research seeks to identify continuities and changes in food consumption and the family and non-family feeding of children from vulnerable neighborhoods of Mendoza and to understand in which way do children, their families, and social referents experience these new commensalities. The work uses aspects of the ongoing project PISAC-COVID-19: The effects of preventive social isolation in the health of Argentinian children, in which the UNCuyo participates as a node.
