| Sumario: | A sample of patients, formed by children and young people, with mental disabilities and records of thyroid dysfunction is reviewed with statistical criteria. Clinical signs and symptoms of the various forms of thyroid dysfunction (hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism) are analyzed and correlated. Clinical, laboratory and other procedures parameters are taken into account to specify early diagnosis and treatment.
