In this review, the bases of the aforementioned areas of knowledge will be outlined in an attempt to offer an objective and unprejudiced view of their current state. La integración de Epigénesis, PINE y Síndrome Fetal Alcohólico introduce una visión holística de la bio-medicina, comprendida desde la investigación científica básica hasta su proyección a la sociedad. También se incluye en el marco de intereses de diverso tipo y de factores sociales que la condicionan o sustentan. En esta revisión, se bosquejarán las bases de las mencionadas áreas del conocimiento en un intento de ofrecer una visión objetiva y desprejuiciada de su estado actual. A integração da Epigênese, PINE e Síndrome Alcoólica Fetal introduz uma visão holística da biomedicina, que vai desde a pesquisa científica básica até sua projeção para a sociedade. Insere-se também no quadro de interesses de diversa índole e de fatores sociais que o condicionam ou sustentam. Nesta revisão, serão delineadas as bases das áreas de conhecimento supracitadas, na tentativa de oferecer uma visão objetiva e sem preconceitos de seu estado atual.
