Sumario:Certain socio-cultural transformations that occurred in the population of Argentina during the period 1920-2020 are exposed in order to link their impact on parental upbringing functions and their effects on children's behaviors. The influence of new family structures and new gender identities are highlighted as determinants of family education models that are in the process of transition from the traditional to the modern, highlighting the importance of parental aspects in the psychophysical health of children and teenagers.
