The influence of new family structures and new gender identities are highlighted as determinants of family education models that are in the process of transition from the traditional to the modern, highlighting the importance of parental aspects in the psychophysical health of children and teenagers. Se exponen determinadas transformaciones socio culturales ocurridas en la población de Argentina durante el período 1920-2020 a fin de vincular su impacto sobre las funciones parentales de crianza y sus efectos en las conductas infantiles. Se destaca la influencia de las nuevas estructuras familiares y las nuevas identidades de género como determinantes de modelos de educación familiar que se encuentran en proceso de transición desde lo tradicional a lo moderno, resaltando la importancia de aspectos parentales en la salud psicofísica de niños, niñas y adolescentes. Certas transformações socioculturais que ocorreram na população da Argentina durante o período 1920-2020 são expostas para relacionar seu impacto nas funções de criação dos pais e seus efeitos nos comportamentos dos filhos. A influência de novas estruturas familiares e novas identidades de gênero são destacadas como determinantes dos modelos de educação familiar que estão em processo de transição do tradicional para o moderno, destacando a importância dos aspectos parentais na saúde psicofísica de crianças e adolescentes.
