The object of the present article is to communicate the significance of managing the documentary patrimony within the framework of a deep institutional crisis. Nevertheless, this has given origin to a certain favourable situation that allows to face the problems and to find their possible solutions. Desde hace un tiempo el Archivo Histórico de la Provincia de Córdoba se encuentra en un complejo proceso de cambios a raíz de un hecho fortuito, que lo convirtió en el foco de la atención pública. El presente escrito sólo tiene la finalidad de expresar lo que implica gestionar el patrimonio documental en el marco de una profunda crisis institucional.
