On the one hand, this article describes briefly the ACCA history, of which origins dates from the 1860 decade and, on the other, it relates the changes introduced since 2006, when the Archive Project started.  El Archivo Central de la Cancillería Argentina (ACCA) es el segundo repositorio de fuentes en Argentina y el quinto en América Latina. Su fondo contiene documentos desde los tiempos coloniales hasta nuestros días, además de la guarda de los objetos del Museo de la Diplomacia. Este artículo describe brevemente, por un lado, la historia del ACCA, cuyos orígenes se remontan a la década de 1860 y, por el otro, da cuenta de los cambios introducidos desde el año 2006 cuando se inició el Proyecto Archivo.
