Some data on the income of the funds are provided in the file, their individualized study and the institutions that have generated them, informing the archival treatment which have been subjected. The bottom line is the contribution to the knowledge of the institutional history has been achieved with the organization of a small portion of funds retained legal there (only 30 linear meters covering the years since 1903 to 1979), task that is expected to continue in the immediate future to advance the conservation and history of coming documentary heritage of the judicial institutions. Este trabajo de investigación archivística pretende contribuir al mejor conocimiento y difusión de los fondos judiciales conservados en el Archivo Histórico Regional de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, cuya reorganización hemos iniciado, ofreciendo una visión de los resultados del proceso, para hacerla útil a los usuarios. Se aportan algunos datos sobre el ingreso de los fondos en el Archivo, de su estudio individualizado y de las instituciones que los han generado, dando a conocer el tratamiento archivístico del cual han sido objeto. Lo fundamental es el aporte al conocimiento de la historia institucional que se ha logrado con la organización de una pequeña parte de los fondos judiciales allí conservados (tan sólo 30 metros lineales que cubren los anos de 1903 a 1979), tarea que se espera continuar en el futuro inmediato para avanzar en la conservación e historia del patrimonio documental proveniente de las instituciones judiciales.
