| Sumario: | This paper presents the Ethnographic Museum of the University of Buenos Aires Archives documentary corpus and the pot ential that offer these type of materials for the institutional history and the practices that developed in the process of institutionalization of archaeology and ethnography in our country. This museum emerged as a cabinet from the School of Philosophy and Literature, directly linked to teaching and university research, reason why their file documentation evidence activities linked to the emerging disciplines. It contains administrative documents, collections files and materials of researchers and professors who have been linked with the Museum. This documentation has allowed us to research in scientific and institutional practices, and to the extent in which they are being investigated for their description and digitized in part, has allowed us to dissemin ate this heritage to a broad public. |
