To that end, it will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of heuristic resources such as traditional statistical sources, local newspapers, personal records and official documents. En la presente comunicación se propone realizar un examen de las fuentes utilizadas en una investigación dedicada al estudio de la inserción socio-espacial de los migrantes en la ciudad de Neuquén durante el periodo comprendido entre 1960 y 1991. Con ese fin se analizarán las fortalezas y las debilidades de recursos heurísticos tales como fuentes estadísticas tradicionales, registros nominativos, periódicos locales y documentos oficiales.
