Then, we describe the  characteristics of the fund and its contributions to the study of labor, unionism, politics and other aspects of  the argentinian and international history. This will let us to inform a key resource to research in those fields,  and the own work of Dimase as a journalist, as well as his most notorious production, the monthly newsletter  called Informes Laborales. En el presente trabajo buscamos dar cuenta del Fondo Leonardo Enrique Dimase, que se encuentra en la  Biblioteca del Centro de Estudios e Investigaciones Laborales (CEIL) del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones  Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET). En primer lugar realizamos un recorrido biográfico y a través de la  trayectoria profesional del periodista Leonardo Dimase; luego describimos el conjunto de documentación  reunida por él, y la contribución de ese fondo al estudio del movimiento obrero y la política argentina e  internacional. Esto nos permitirá poner en conocimiento una fuente de información que puede contribuir al  estudio de actores relevantes y períodos recientes, además del propio trabajo de Dimase en la construcción  de un archivo durante el ejercicio de su actividad periodística, y su relación con su producción más original y  conocida (los “Informes Laborales”) a partir de aquellos documentos reunidos.
