This article presents the first  advances obtained in the exploration and analysis of the documentary collection that makes up the file  of the Information Service of the Argentine Prefecture for the so-called “North Atlantic Zone”. For this, an  approach to the so-called “Information Collection Plan”” of the Argentine Navy and, specifically, an analytical  reading of a series of reports prepared during the years 1975 and 1976 are proposed, while identifying a  moment of innovation in the Routine forms of force registration due to the imperatives of the so-called “fight  against subversion”. The paper seeks to offer a set of initial questions about the registration, monitoring and  intelligence practices of an internal security force sparsely explored today. La reflexión en torno a los archivos que permiten construir conocimiento histórico sobre la última dictadura  militar en Argentina abre un amplio abanico de problemas y de potenciales indagaciones. El presente artículo  presenta los primeros avances obtenidos en la exploración y análisis del fondo documental que compone  el archivo del Servicio de Informaciones de la Prefectura Argentina para la denominada “Zona Atlántico  Norte”. Para ello, se propone una aproximación al denominado “Plan de Colección de Información” de la  Armada Argentina y, específicamente, una lectura analítica de una serie de informes elaborados durante los  años 1975 y 1976 en tanto la identificación de un momento de innovación en las modalidades de registro  rutinarias de la fuerza en razón de los imperativos de la llamada “lucha contra la subversión”. El escrito busca  ofrecer un conjunto de preguntas iniciales acerca de las prácticas de registro, seguimiento e inteligencia de  una fuerza de seguridad interior escasamente explorada en la actualidad.
