Construction of meanings”. In this academic context, the purpose of this written work is to analyze the conceptions about the teacher training received in the academic paths followed by these students, based on the emergence of data in the evidence collected. Recovering the discourse that circulates in the interviewed students, identifying their arguments and interpreting and understanding these positions from theory, is essential to think about elements that, from their voices, are frequently evidenced problems and that, therefore, constitute “unpostponable challenges” to review in the course of initial teacher training. Este artículo surge a partir del trabajo realizado en la tesis de maestría “Hacia una comprensión de las concepciones sobre discapacidad en estudiantes de los profesorados de la Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto. Construcción de significados”. En este contexto académico, el presente trabajo escrito tiene por finalidad analizar las concepciones sobre la formación docente recibida en los recorridos académicos seguidos por estos estudiantes, a partir del surgimiento de datos en las evidencias recogidas. Recuperar el discurso que circula en los estudiantes entrevistados identificando sus argumentaciones e interpretando y comprendiendo desde la teoría estos posicionamientos es fundamental para pensar elementos que son problemas frecuentemente evidenciados y que, por tanto, se constituyen en “desafíos impostergables” a revisar en el trayecto de formación docente inicial.
