The paper collects the results of quantitative and qualitative studies carried out by the National Teacher Education Institute and a descriptive exploratory study carried out based on interviews with management teams of state teacher education institutes, developed from the research area of ​​the Higher Education Directorate of the province of Cordoba. A concern that runs through the article is how the organizational task of education institutes were restructured within the framework of long-standing institutional conditioning and those considered emerging in virtuality. Likewise, alternative teaching strategies to face-to-face and simultaneity are identified and described, the resources implemented in digital scenarios and the various agreements, criteria and collective proposals generated by educational institutions to give pedagogical continuity to the education of teachers in the new social and educational scenarios. El presente artículo aborda las condiciones institucionales que se construyeron para sostener las trayectorias de los estudiantes y los procesos de enseñanza en la formación docente durante el contexto de emergencia por la pandemia de COVID-19, en el año 2020 y 2021. El escrito recoge resultados de estudios cuantitativos y cualitativos realizados por el Instituto Nacional de Formación Docente y un estudio exploratorio descriptivo basado en entrevistas a equipos directivos de institutos de formación docente estatal, desarrollado desde el área de investigación de la Dirección de Educación Superior de la provincia de Córdoba. Una preocupación que recorre el artículo es cómo se reestructuró la tarea organizativa de los institutos formadores en el marco de los condicionamientos institucionales de larga data y aquellos considerados emergentes en la virtualidad. Asimismo, se identifican y describen las estrategias de enseñanza alternativas a la presencialidad y a la simultaneidad, los recursos implementados en los escenarios digitales y los diversos acuerdos, criterios y propuestas colectivas generadas por las instituciones educativas para dar continuidad pedagógica a la formación de profesores en los nuevos escenarios sociales y educativos.
