This spontaneous outbreak that demonstrated the union of the working class with the student body and other sectors, and that led to the beginning of the end of the de facto government of Juan Carlos Onganía was documented in both the local and national press. The article proposes to make a journey through the five decades that separate us from this fact of transcendence both for Córdoba and for the country, describing aspects of the national context and Córdoba in those days, as well as the main agendas that the press reflects on their covers in the days before and after the Cordobazo and its successive anniversaries. Uno de los hechos más significativos que marcaron la historia de nuestra Córdoba del siglo XX fue sin lugar a dudas el “Cordobazo”. Este estallido espontáneo que demostró la unión de la clase obrera con el estudiantado y otros sectores, y que propició el inicio del fin del gobierno de facto de Juan Carlos Onganía quedó documentado tanto en la prensa local como nacional. El articulo propone hacer un recorrido a lo largo de las cinco décadas que nos separan de este hecho de trascendencia tanto para Córdoba como para el país, describiendo aspectos del contexto nacional y de Córdoba en esos días, como de las principales agendas que la prensa reflejó en sus portadas en las jornadas previas y posteriores al Cordobazo y en sus sucesivos aniversarios.
