description The following work synthesizes a socio-community experience carried out during the year 2021 at Colegio Nacional de Monserrat. It was carried out in the curricular spaces called the Socio-Community Project in coordination with the Textile Laboratory Optional Space, the Cromosoma Social Design studio and artisans from the Wichí community of the province of Formosa who make up the Mawo project. The exchange that brought us together for this project was to weave networks and share knowledge of the textile trade and craft techniques within the framework of a socio-community experience that would allow us a transformative educational process. We worked virtually, since we were going through the period of preventive social isolation, and virtual meetings were set up for the transmission of theoretical training and for exchange with artisan women.By means of the production of educational videos, the students were able to transmit and share what they had learned, responding to the need of the artisans to improve the quality and design of their products. Regarding the approach from socio-community projects, we worked to awaken reflection, social awareness, empathy, recognition of the cultural diversity and the development of critical thinking from a rights perspective; as well as the importance and value of craft work as cultural heritage of our indigenous peoples.
