description	These sites are contemporary and correspond to two rural sites, Estancia Bertón and El Santuario I, and an urban site located in the historic center of the city of Magdalena. In the sites predominates the domestic species, where Ovis aries and to a lesser extent Bos taurus stand out. Wild species are scarcely represented. In the urban site, a greater variety of species stands out, and saw cuts for reduction in smaller units practically non-existent in rural areas. The analysis and comparison of fauna resources presented in these sites allow us interpreted the access and consumption of wild and domestic species, as well as processing practices between rural and urban spaces. In this way, this analysis allows to characterize different mechanisms of access, processing and consumption of faunal resources within the framework of market access process increasing, with the consequent circulation of products and the consolidation of cattle production establishments as market-oriented enterprises.
