description This paper presents new information about a prehispanic textile collection obtained by researchers Pedro Vignale, and Dick Ibarra Grasso in the Yura and Carma regions, (Potosí, Southern Bolivia), during their field work carried out at the beginning of the 1940s. Although these textiles were described very superficially, until now no specific analysis of them has been undertaken. In this paper I present the results of a detailed analysis of these textiles, showing their correlation with archaeological data. This approach makes it possible to explore aspects of gender related to the owners, their iconography, and the relationships of interaction emerging from these textiles.
