The results obtained in a mesoregional scale show a large diversity of motifs and techniques, which is accentuated in Laguna La Maciega. This diversity, together with the analysis of the patina, suggests the possibility of recurrent uses of these basins. According to the evaluation of the archaeological contexts associated to the rock art in North Patagonia, it is most likely that the circulation of these images corresponds to a late Holocene social dynamic
